PERFORMANCE

Our purpose within this Division is to work with Individuals, Teams and coaches so that athletes can take their training and performance to the next level, improving their speed, agility, and strength in whatever their chosen field is.

At the Glute Station we have some of the best machines in the World, some of which include a World Class Watson Pendulum Squat, 2x Hip Thruster machines, The famous Gluteator (the first one in NSW), Olympic Deadlifting Platform plus many more, all of which are used and endorsed by the Glute Guy himself Bret Contreras, and can be seen on our Social Media pages and YouTube Channel.

Why Training the Glutes is so important for Performance?

  • The Glutes are the largest most important muscle of the posterior chain and the most powerful muscle in the body.
  • Strong glutes will help an athlete do a lot of things better, whether that be increasing their power at the bottom of a squat, high/long jump, improving their sprint mechanics, or helping them to push harder off their back toe while throwing a punch in a boxing fight. Just about every sport that involves generating power from the legs utilises the glute muscles.
  • There are 3 muscles that make up the Glutes, and without hitting all of these muscles properly Performance will be inhibited.

But its not just the glutes you need to focus on when looking to optimize performance. We also need to heavily focus on all of the Lower Body, Anterior & Posterior Chain(The hamstrings, Quads, lower back, Abductors/Adductors). And at the Glute Station we cater for all of these muscle groups with our carefully selected machines and equipment.

GROWTH

Our purpose within this Division is to create a fun, social environment where you can come and train, focusing on all things 'Booty'. And yes this is the Glute Station, but not only do we promise to get your Glutes on point, but we also guarantee we will help you achieve beach worthy toned legs, abs and core, ensuring when you step into Summer you are well and truly beach body confident.

Plus for anyone who enjoys a good 'Selfie', we even have a cool 'Selfie Collage Wall', where we encourage you to take photos which you can use and share on your social media.

REHAB

Our purpose within this Division is to work with anyone who is in need of strengthening and working on areas that include 'The Glutes, lower body, Posterior Chain aswell as the core(Anterior Chain).

Unfortunately far to many people now suffer from poor posture, lower back pain, aswell as hip and knee pain, with a large number of cases being down to Weak Glutes.

Below are a few examples of cases where Weak Glutes may be the cause

  • Pain in the front of the Knee during a workout
  • Pain in the outside of the Hip during a workout
  • Squatting/lunging with a hip tilt or shift to one side
  • Lower back pain
  • An off balance gait when running
  • Poor posture

Here at the Glute Station not only do we have some of the best machines in the world, but we also work alongside some amazing Health Care Practitioners(listed below) so that we can help you improve and strengthen these areas, helping improve day to day health, wellbeing and performance in and out of the gym.

We can also cater to individuals who are recovering from hip replacement surgery…working along side their personal physios/health practisioners to help provide the exercise protocol required to make a full recovery.
